Backend Developer (NestJS / .NET)

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join a growing engineering team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable backend services using NestJS and/or .NET, with experience in test automation, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted software development.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Strong backend development experience with NestJS and/or .NET
• Design and development of RESTful APIs and microservices
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and test automation frameworks
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and scalable architectures
• Experience with cloud-based applications and containerized environments
• Proficiency in Git, code reviews, and Agile development methodologies

AI-Assisted Development:

• Hands-on experience with Claude Code and AI coding assistants
• Experience using AI tools for code generation, testing, debugging, and productivity improvements

Requirements:

• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience delivering high-quality, enterprise-scale applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
