Job: Dynamics365 Business Analyst
Location: Melbourne, VIC
Contract: 6 months fixed term or Contract

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Conduct workshops and requirement gathering sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Understand current-state processes and identify opportunities for optimisation and automation.
  • Translate business requirements into user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
  • Support prioritisation and backlog refinement activities.

D365 CE Functional Responsibilities

  • Drive functional design and solution configuration across D365 CE modules.
  • Work closely with architects and development teams to ensure solution alignment.
  • Configure and support core D365 CE functionality including:
    • Customer and contact management
    • Case management
    • Sales and service processes
    • Workflows and business process flows
  • Assist in solution validation, UAT and business sign-off activities.

Delivery & Change Support

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning activities.
  • Support test planning, defect triaging and release activities.
  • Develop process documentation and provide user support/training where required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including integration, reporting and data teams.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant / Business Analyst.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE (CRM).
  • Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder management capability.
  • Experience writing business requirements, user stories and process documentation.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Understanding of CRM processes and customer lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting UAT and change management activities.

Preferred Skills

  • Exposure to Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse).
  • Understanding of integration concepts and APIs.
  • Exposure to customer service and sales process transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in construction, property, or home building industries preferred.
  • Microsoft D365 certifications desirable.
