Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake, cloud-based data platforms, ETL/ELT development, and data warehousing concepts. You will be responsible for designing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable data solutions to support business analytics and enterprise reporting needs.

This role requires hands-on experience working with modern data engineering tools, cloud technologies, and large-scale data environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake
• Build and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows using modern data integration tools
• Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and data teams to understand data requirements
• Perform data modelling and implement best practices for performance optimization
• Integrate data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, and cloud platforms
• Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot performance or data quality issues
• Implement security, governance, and access controls within Snowflake
• Collaborate with DevOps and cloud teams for deployment automation and CI/CD processes
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of data solutions
• Create technical documentation and support ongoing enhancements

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse
• Good experience in SQL and advanced query optimization
• Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, Talend, Matillion, DBT, or Airflow
• Experience working with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Strong understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Lake concepts
• Experience in data modelling techniques (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, etc.)
• Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Experience with performance tuning and data optimization
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

• Snowflake Certifications are a plus
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
• Exposure to real-time data processing and streaming technologies
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices
