As we continue to grow, were seeking an experienced AU Shift Manager to lead our Australian recruiting accounts and oversee back-office operations.
Role Overview
The AU Shift Manager will lead a team of recruiters specializing in healthcare and light industrial roles while supervising back-office staff supporting payroll, travel administration, IT support, recruiting administration, and compliance. This role combines hands-on recruiting knowledge with strong leadership and operational management, ensuring seamless service delivery across all functions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and manage recruiters supporting Australian healthcare and light industrial clients.
Oversee and optimize back-office functions including payroll processing, travel administration, IT support, recruiting admin, and compliance.
Manage daily shift operations to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality delivery of recruitment and back-office services.
Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication, service updates, and escalations.
Track and evaluate team KPIs, productivity, and quality; provide coaching, training, and feedback.
Hire, onboard, and train AU shift recruiting and back-office team members.
Conduct regular performance management to drive accountability and growth.
Collaborate with leadership to streamline workflows, improve efficiency, and enhance client satisfaction.
Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
3+ years of recruitment experience (healthcare and/or light industrial preferred), with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
Experience in offshoring/outsourcing within the recruiting industry.
Strong background managing recruiting teams and back-office operations (payroll, travel, compliance, admin support).
Solid understanding of the Australian recruitment market and compliance requirements.
Proven success in leading remote teams and cultivating high-performance culture.
Excellent communication, client management, and problem-solving skills.
Highly organized, process-driven, and detail-oriented.
Demonstrated ability to lead multiple teams and develop people to their highest potential.
