About the Role:
As a Light Industrial Sourcer, youll play a vital role in supporting our recruitment consultants by identifying, engaging, and maintaining a pool of quality candidates across various industries.
Youll use multiple sourcing channels to attract job-ready talent, conduct initial screenings, and manage data accuracy within the recruitment database. This is an ideal role for someone looking to grow into a full-cycle recruitment position and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively source candidates through clients job boards, database mining, LinkedIn, referrals, and social media
- Screen, interview and shortlist candidates based on job fit, experience, and availability Maintain an active and updated pool of job-ready talent, aligned with current client demand
- Support overflow recruitment by pre-screening and forwarding quality candidates to consultants
- Conduct initial phone screens and book interviews for the recruitment team Keep candidate profiles up to date in the system (availability, preferences, contact info, etc.)
- Assist in coordinating compliance requirements: reference checks, police checks, medicals, and onboarding
- Ensure high-quality candidate data is maintained within the ATS/database Communicate regularly with the recruitment team on sourcing progress and talent availability
- Share insights on candidate expectations, competitor activity, and market pay rates Generate leads from reference checks and pass them on for business development follow-up
KPIs
- Sufficient pool of available, job-ready candidates is maintained
- Timely completion of sourcing-related tasks as agreed with manager/consultants High conversion of sourced candidates to interviews/placements
- Candidate records are consistently accurate and up to date
- Positive team contribution and collaboration
- Minimum of 10 interviewed candidates referred each week
Growth Path
This role is designed with a possibility of growing into a full Recruitment Consultant position. As you gain confidence and experience, you have the possibility of beginning to take on candidate interviews, client communication, and eventually, full-cycle recruitment responsibilities.
