Travel RN Recruiter (Pooling)
Job Description:
Travel RN Recruiter (Pooling)
Location: Remote
Company: People Avenue
Type: Full-Time / Independent Contractor
About People Avenue
At People Avenue, we dont just "fill seats"—we build the foundations of great care. As a people-first offshoring partner, we connect mission-driven healthcare organizations with elite talent. We operate with a "Good Force" mentality, meaning we prioritize transparency, urgency, and authentic human connection in everything we do.
The Role
We are looking for a high-energy, tech-savvy Travel RN Recruiter to join our growing team. In this role, you aren't just a recruiter; you are a career agent for healthcare heroes. You will be responsible for sourcing, vetting, and placing Registered Nurses in high-impact travel assignments across the country.
The "FYRE" Advantage: We utilize FYRE (Bullhorn) to supercharge our sourcing. We need someone who knows how to leverage this automation tool to find "purple squirrels" in record time, ensuring our candidates get to the bedside faster than the competition.
Key Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire candidate journey from initial sourcing and "the pitch" to offer negotiation and onboarding.
- FYRE Power-User: Utilize FYRE to automate job board searches, sync data seamlessly into our CRM, and capture top-tier candidates before they hit the open market.
- Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for your nurses, providing "white-glove" support throughout their 13-week assignments.
- High-Volume Sourcing: Execute 50–70 touchpoints daily (calls, texts, emails) to maintain a robust pipeline of active and passive RNs.
- Credentialing Coordination: Work closely with our compliance team to ensure all travel RNs are "file-complete" and ready for their start dates.
What You Bring
- Experience: At least 2+ years of experience in Travel Nurse Recruiting.
- Technical Chops: Proven experience with FYRE (or deep expertise in Bullhorn automation) is a must. You should know how to let the tech do the heavy lifting so you can focus on the human connection.
- Industry Knowledge: A solid understanding of nurse specialties (ICU, ER, MedSurg), compact licenses, and the current travel market landscape.
- The "Good Force" Vibe: You are highly motivated, competitive, and empathetic. You care about the "why" behind a nurses desire to travel.
Why People Avenue?
- Remote Freedom: Work from wherever you are most productive.
- Uncapped Commission: A competitive base salary plus a commission structure that rewards your hustle.
- Culture of Support: No micromanagement—just mentors who want to see you win.
- Meaningful Work: Every placement you make directly impacts patient care in communities that need it most.
