Position Overview:
As a Personal Assistant at Thesalonhype, you will be responsible for providing administrative and organizational support to the salon owner and other senior staff members. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the salon, as well as maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the salon owner's calendar and schedule appointments, meetings, and events
- Coordinate and communicate with clients to schedule appointments and manage their bookings
- Greet and assist clients, ensuring they have a positive experience at the salon
- Handle phone and email inquiries, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or concerns
- Maintain and update client records and databases
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Handle financial tasks such as invoicing, billing, and processing payments
- Conduct market research and assist with marketing and promotional activities
- Assist with social media management and content creation
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and correspondence
- Act as a liaison between the salon owner and staff, relaying messages and requests as needed
- Provide support to other staff members as required
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience as a personal assistant or in a similar role is an asset
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing is a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
