Location: Eastern NC (multiple sites)
Employment Type: Full-time (MondayFriday with flexibility)
Compensation: $45,000/year to start, with performance-based increases and promotion track to Clinical Manager

About the Role:
The Wilkinson Firm is seeking a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist (LCAS or LCAS-A) to serve as a Clinical Leader-in-Training (Floater) for a confidential behavioral health provider in Eastern North Carolina. This role ensures clinical continuity and leadership coverage across multiple sites when Clinical Managers are out, transitioning, or need support.

This is an ideal position for an LCAS-A preparing for their exam or an LCAS looking to grow into a leadership role. Youll get exposure to multiple programs, receive targeted mentorship, and build the foundation to become a future Clinical Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide assessment, documentation review, and clinical coverage across multiple outpatient program sites

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, reassessments, and diagnostic updates

• Co-sign and support development of Person-Centered Plans (PCPs), treatment plans, and service notes

• Step in for Clinical Managers during planned or emergency absences

• Mentor and support Qualified Professionals and Associate Professionals across locations

• Participate in internal compliance reviews, documentation audits, and leadership briefings

• Prepare for advancement into a Clinical Manager or Program Supervisor role

What Were Looking For:

• Licensure: Active LCAS or LCAS-A in North Carolina

• Experience: 2+ years in behavioral health or substance use treatment settings

• Documentation Skills: Familiarity with Medicaid and licensure requirements

• Leadership Readiness: Eager to grow into a supervisory or clinical management role

• Flexibility: Willing to travel between site locations (mileage reimbursed)

• Bonus: Candidates within 3060 days of LCAS exam strongly encouraged to apply
