At The Wise Seeker, we are looking for an experienced, passionate and creative marketing and brand manager to work with one of our clients in Glasgow: a company that offers high school students from all over the world the unique opportunity to combine learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure in one of two amazing, historic and picturesque university towns of St Andrews, Cambridge & Yale. As the Marketing and brand manager you will play a pivotal role in advancing our digital presence and building our brand internationally you will be responsible for building and maintaining the brand through the management and development of all communications channels from brochures, website, social media, video, online listings and advertising and summer school branding.

Tasks

  • Developing communication strategies that help increase brand awareness amongst the target audience and help to increase market share.
  • Work closely with the team to refine and communicate the brands unique value proposition to international markets.
  • Maintain, and implement brand guidelines to ensure consistent representation across all platforms.
  • Oversee all print media and summer school branding.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy across platforms including social media, email campaigns, web content, and more.
  • Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and innovations, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Build and engage the audience across all platforms.
  • Oversee all paid-for advertising (do not need to implement) and keep all online listings up to date and in line with our brand
  • Establish ways to increase online presence and push the brand to new audiences
  • Build, manage, and grow our social media profiles and presence.
  • Engage with students, parents, and schools to foster engagement.
  • Manage, maintain and develop a marketing strategy for attracting summer staff. (online listing and social media)
  • Tell the company story and communicate our values through the various platforms at your disposal.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills with a talent for writing (must be able to write and think from the heart and tell a story)
  • Interested in the evolution of digital marketing and how best to engage with it
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working in marketing and or communications.
  • A team player and interested in people and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in building a brand and creating and executing a marketing strategy
  • Experience in digital marketing and SM platforms: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin
  • Understanding and passion for the education sector
  • A keen eye for detail, visuals and words.
  • Organised and able to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Ability and enthusiasm to understand how to address different markets and clients
  • Ability to multitask and self-manage
