Merchandise Manager

Job Description:

• Provide promotion plan, maximize sales with attractive selling price, stock commitment with supplier to ensure its availability throughout the whole promotion period.
• Negotiation on rebate amount for promotion support, ensure collection done in monthly basis.
• Improve GP%: Source high quality merchandise, commitment stock at right quantity, work closely with operation to improve disposal and loss.
• Develop sourcing route for best quality merchandise locally or oversea at the best cost in order to achieve higher profit margin.
• Execute joint procurement, negotiate on necessary stock commitment, and improve trading terms, business agreement.
• Focus on Yearly contract trading terms, business agreement outright and consignment, rebate management, marketing fund, suppliers visit and business review.
• Introduce new merchandise/category based on customers demand and lifestyle.
• Provide direction and strategy of merchandise assortment and classification for respective stores/region.
• Study competitor, market situation, and visitation of trade fair to understanding merchandise assortment availability, market price and way of selling.
• Encourage participation from suppliers to utilize Business Member/e-wallet platform to promote merchandise in term of promotion, recipe, contest and product information.

Job Requirements:

- Experienced at retail business, super marketing and retail product is a plus
- Ability to handle multi tasks and complexities as per number of different projects will be implemented at the same time
- Experienced at retail business
- Good knowledge of English, Can speak Thai is a plus
- At least 3 years experienced of purchasing or merchandise
