Senior Data Sales Director

The Opportunity

We're working with a specialist data business that's growing fast across Europe. They've built a strong position in their home market and are now investing seriously in international expansion with a clear product, real backing, and the need for someone who can lead that charge commercially.

This isn't a territory management role. It's genuine market-building  identifying where to play, building the relationships that matter, and converting them into revenue.

What You'll Be Doing

Building the Ecosystem

• Source and negotiate agreements with data providers and registries across Europe.
• Evaluate data quality, coverage, compliance requirements, and commercial feasibility.
• Support client onboarding and integration to ensure long-term retention.

Growing New Markets

• Identify priority territories and build the commercial case for entry.
• Develop go-to-market plans, pricing, and multi-year revenue targets for each.
• Represent the business at senior level with prospective clients and partners.

Winning Business

• Own the full sales process  from cold outreach through to signed contracts.
• Sell data and API solutions to our clients target market
• Manage pipeline and forecasting with clear accountability for results.

Who We're Looking For

• A background in data, SaaS, or API-led sales 
• Commercially strategic: able to think through pricing, segmentation, and territory planning, not just execute against a playbook.
• Technically literate enough to hold credible conversations about data quality, API design, and integration requirements.
• At ease with GDPR  and the regulatory variation that comes with operating across multiple European markets.
