About the Role

A leading full-service experience and events agency is looking for a Senior Production Manager to own all physical build, installation, and de-rig operations across its live events and experiential portfolio. This is a senior, commercially accountable role — not just operational delivery, but genuine ownership of budgets, margins, and standards.

What You'll Do

Operations 

  • Lead all build and install operations from pre-production through to strike
  • Oversee warehouse prep, load-ins, on-site installations, and storage
  • Act as senior on-site lead for complex or high-profile builds
  • Establish delivery standards, documentation, and H&S best practice

Commercial 

  • Own build budgets across fabrication, logistics, install, and de-rig
  • Work alongside producers at quotation stage to ensure accurate, viable pricing
  • Protect margins through efficient resourcing and cost control
  • Develop frameworks for build cost forecasting across repeat activations

Resource Management

  • Coordinate internal build crews and trusted external contractors
  • Build and maintain a strong supplier and fabricator network
  • Allocate resources effectively across concurrent projects
  • Contribute to team structure planning as the business scales

Quality, Assets & Innovation

  • Oversee fabrication standards and on-site installation quality
  • Bridge the gap between creative design intent and physical execution
  • Manage physical inventory — scenic assets, tools, and infrastructure
  • Identify opportunities to grow and formalise a rental/asset offering


What's In Scope

Brand activations, exhibition stands, temporary retail and window installations, scenic builds, seasonal activations, and experiential environments requiring fabrication, dressing, and physical infrastructure.

Experience Required

  • 7–10+ years in live events, experiential, or scenic build environments
  • Proven track record leading site installations end-to-end
  • Strong budget management and commercial awareness
  • Solid logistics and contractor management experience
  • Hands-on fabrication knowledge and H&S competency is mandatory
