The opportunity

We're working with a creative, fast paced PR and communications agency to find a Communications Manager ready to take on genuine leadership responsibility. You'll be closely involved in how campaigns come together end to end, working across both traditional PR and digital channels for a portfolio of clients.

The role suits someone who wants variety: running live campaigns, building out client and media relationships, coaching more junior colleagues, and contributing to new business wins. Where you'll spend your time

  • Contributing to the planning and delivery of integrated PR and digital campaigns
  • Running live campaigns day to day, keeping delivery on time, on budget, and to a high standard
  • Tracking media coverage and social performance, turning findings into practical recommendations
  • Shaping strategies that push client campaigns toward measurable results
  • Growing and maintaining relationships with clients, prospects, suppliers, and journalists
  • Preparing and issuing media releases, and managing the process of securing press coverage
  • Acting as a go to point of contact for clients, offering strategic and creative direction
  • Attending industry events, client meetings, and networking opportunities on the agency's behalf
  • Writing content for pitches, plans, releases, creator briefs, and social channels
  • Managing the agency's own social media output
  • Keeping pace with platform and algorithm changes and bringing new thinking into the team
  • Working with influencers and content creators to extend campaign reach
  • Coaching junior colleagues and reviewing their work before it's shared externally
  • Running short check in calls to assign work and set priorities across the team
  • Researching sector trends and current events to inform campaign direction
  • Reviewing campaign data to identify what's working and where to adjust
  • Keeping media and outreach lists current in collaboration with the wider team


What you'll bring

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in PR, communications, or a related field, with confidence to lead
  • Strong strategic thinking backed by a record of successful campaign delivery
  • Solid, current understanding of social platforms including TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and X
  • Strong copywriting ability alongside excellent verbal communication
  • A track record of building lasting client and media relationships
  • Genuine interest in supporting and developing more junior team members
  • A resourceful, solutions focused approach to problem solving

Salary €38,000 DOE
