Job Title: Head Concierge
Location: Vauxhall, South West London
Hours: 42 hours per week (12-hour shifts, 7am7pm, Pitman rota)
Salary: £38,160
Thomas Webb Recruitment is a leading recruitment consultancy specialising in front-of-house staffing for Londons most prestigious residential developments. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly polished Head Concierge to lead the front-of-house team at a landmark super prime residence in Vauxhall.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a proven leader with a background in luxury residential or five-star hospitality to deliver an outstanding resident experience while managing and mentoring a concierge team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example in delivering an exceptional welcome and professional service to all residents, visitors, and guests
- Oversee and support the concierge team to ensure consistent five-star standards across all shifts
- Act as the primary point of contact for residents, providing highly personalised and discreet service at all times
- Manage team rotas, performance, and training, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
- Coordinate complex resident requests, including luxury lifestyle services, VIP arrangements, and bespoke experiences
- Work closely with the building management team and contractors to ensure health, safety, and compliance standards are met
- Maintain accurate records of parcels, keys, resident requests, and amenity usage using internal systems (e.g. SPIKE, BuildingLink, or equivalent)
- Conduct regular patrols of the development, reporting maintenance, safety, or service concerns promptly
- Support resident move-ins/outs and ensure seamless arrival experiences
- Uphold immaculate front-of-house presentation at all times and represent the building with the highest level of professionalism
- Anticipate and proactively resolve service issues, fostering resident satisfaction and trust
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Head Concierge or Senior Concierge in a luxury residential or five-star hospitality setting essential
- Demonstrable experience in team leadership, staff training, and rota management
- Exceptional personal presentation and polished communication skills (spoken and written English)
- Proven ability to engage confidently with high-net-worth individuals, VIPs, and discerning residents
- Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple priorities calmly and effectively
- Discreet, trustworthy, and committed to delivering consistently high service standards
- Knowledge of Londons luxury services, venues, and amenities highly advantageous
- Eligible to work in the UK
