A leading global manufacturer in the automotive supply chain is seeking a commercially driven Sales Manager to join its U.S. operations in Farmington Hills, MI. This is a high-impact role focused on driving sales growth and expanding key customer relationships within the Tier 1 and OEM segments.

This company specializes in castings that meet the highest standards of performance and quality. Backed by robust R&D and a collaborative global supply chain, they offer both standard and custom-engineered solutions to major automotive manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial programs from prototype through production launch.
  • Handle customer RFQs, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
  • Act as the main liaison between customers, engineering, and supply chain partners throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee sales forecasting, reporting, and market trend analysis.
  • Lead and support a team of sales assistants, engineers, and reps.
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to align product specs with customer needs.

About You:

  • Bachelors degree in Business or Engineering (required).
  • Experience of managing OEM customers.
  • 3 + years of sales or account management experience in automotive castings or similar product.
  • Strong knowledge of B2B sales strategies and customer relationship management.
  • Familiarity with reading technical drawings and working with engineering teams.
  • Confident managing multiple programs and communicating with both domestic and international teams.
