This is an interesting post for someone in DESIGN to move into Project Estimation.

Our client is a large turnkey paint facilities developer, working on major projects for automotive OEM clients across the USA.

This company is looking to take a design / development engineer and train them into project estimation.

Candidates should have the following skills / experience:

• Knowledge of industrial ventilation and sheet metal/structural design detailing
• Knowledge of Factory Paint Shops and component systems.
• Good Microsoft excel skills.

You will be trained to:

• Compile purchase equipment lists
• Compile field and labor costs
• Prepare cost summaries.
• Evaluate bids.
• Prepare bids.
• Prepare estimates.
• Attend bid meetings.
