Three Peaks International is a Sydney based staffing solutions partner which provides local and virtual staffing solutions to Australian businesses through outsourcing, recruitment, and migration.

We are seeking a competent and analytical Senior Tax Accountant for one of established firms in Australia.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and filing of tax returns- (Independent, Company and Trust Tax Returns) ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.
• Reviewing financial statements and identifying tax reconciliation items.
• Generating Business Activity Statements based on client summaries or accounting software.
• Compiling Fringe Benefit Tax returns.
• Preparing Instalment Activity Statements and annual GST returns.
• Supporting with accounting, taxation, and business advisory research and technical advisory work for clients

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Australian Tax Accountant
• Proficient in using XERO and Quick books and utilizing tax software and tools such as HandiSoft.
• Extensive experience in preparing and filing tax returns, BAS, and IAS for Australian clients.
• Has excellent organization skills, can work and prepare reports for multiple clients
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Possess necessary equipment, including a computer, high-speed internet, and a headset.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
• Thorough understanding of Australian tax codes, regulations, and reporting requirements.
