Core Accounting Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Prepare and process ABA (Australian Banking Association) files for payroll and refund disbursements efficiently and accurately
- Manage superannuation contributions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of End-of-Month (EOM) reports, including preliminary analysis and data compilation
Key Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Conduct thorough reviews of the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement
- Analyze the Balance Sheet to ensure accuracy, proper classification of assets and liabilities, and identify potential risks or opportunities
- Perform comprehensive Cash Flow analysis to monitor liquidity, forecast future cash positions, and support strategic decision-making
- Oversee Accounts Receivables, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and managing aged debtors effectively
- Create FISCAL BUDGET
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of proven experience in an accounting role with a strong understanding of financial principles
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Google SUITE
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
