Core Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank and ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Prepare and process ABA (Australian Banking Association) files for payroll and refund disbursements efficiently and accurately
  • Manage superannuation contributions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation of End-of-Month (EOM) reports, including preliminary analysis and data compilation

Key Financial Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct thorough reviews of the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, identifying trends, variances, and areas for improvement
  • Analyze the Balance Sheet to ensure accuracy, proper classification of assets and liabilities, and identify potential risks or opportunities
  • Perform comprehensive Cash Flow analysis to monitor liquidity, forecast future cash positions, and support strategic decision-making
  • Oversee Accounts Receivables, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments and managing aged debtors effectively
  • Create FISCAL BUDGET

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of proven experience in an accounting role with a strong understanding of financial principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Google SUITE
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
