About the job Power BI Data Analyst
We are seeking a Power BI Data Analyst to join our team at Three Peaks International Pty Ltd.
As a Power BI Data Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to identify trends and insights that will drive business decisions. You will work closely with our team of data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders to develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI. Your role will be crucial in providing accurate and timely data-driven recommendations to support business strategies and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Dashboard Development
- Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports
- Translate business requirements into clear, user-friendly data visualisations
- Develop standardised reporting packs (daily, weekly, monthly performance reports)
- Present insights in a structured and meaningful way to support operational decisions
Data Management & Integration
- Extract, clean, and transform data from multiple sources (e.g. CRM, finance systems, CCMS like OWNA)
- Work with structured and semi-structured data formats including JSON
- Build and maintain data models to ensure accurate and scalable reporting
- Automate data workflows where possible to improve efficiency
Analysis & Insights
- Analyse trends across key metrics (e.g. occupancy, revenue, staffing, utilisation)
- Identify patterns, risks, and opportunities within the data
- Provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in Power BI, data analysis, or business intelligence
- Strong skills in Power BI, DAX, Power Query, Excel, and workflow automation
- Working knowledge in Python, SQL, and scripting for automation and data processing
- Background in automation, coding, and integrating data from multiple systems
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to deliver actionable insights and recommendations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders
- Experience handling structured and semi-structured data (e.g., JSON)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights
Technical Requirements:
- Has own equipment (Laptop or Desktop) at least core i7 with 16 GB RAM and a back-up equipment
- Stable internet connection (at least 100 MBPS upload and download)
- Conducive home-office work set-up and noise canceling headset.
