Job Description
As a Demand Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for optimizing inventory levels to strike a balance between investments and fill rates in both B2B and retail environments. You will play a key role in building and establishing demand planning processes from the ground up within a start-up environment. This includes analyzing forecasting systems, addressing items with limited demand history, collaborating cross-functionally, and ensuring alignment with vendor requirements.

A successful candidate must be able to:

  • Build and implement demand planning processes in a start-up environment.
  • Review and oversee forecasts for high-volume and new parts, continuously monitoring inventory levels to achieve customer fill rate and inventory objectives.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of historical trends, comparable products, parts, and sales and marketing data to apply optimal forecasting methods.
  • Proactively enhance demand planning, inventory performance, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Work with multiple product lines and manage replenishment, deployment, and forecasting strategies.
  • Incorporate lead times, pricing, and supplier sourcing into decision-making processes.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and both US and international vendors.
  • Generate detailed, analytical reports for strategic insights and presentations.
  • Ensure ERP system recommendations (Oracle NetSuite experience required) align with vendor ordering requirements.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a private company within construction, manufacturing, or construction manufacturing sectors.
  • Proven experience working with both US and international vendors.
  • Proficient in ERP systems, with specific experience in Oracle NetSuite.
  • Demonstrated analytical forecasting skills with the ability to adapt and collaborate across teams.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a data-driven mindset.
  • Bachelors degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

  • This is a 100% onsite role located in Commerce, TX.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment.
