Weve released dozens of games and franchises, including Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, Potion Craft, and more. Headquartered in the Seattle, Washington area, the company now has studios across the US, the Netherlands, Serbia, and Ukraine.
We've got a great opportunity for a creative and talented Social Media Marketing Manager to join our team and help build and manage a community of passionate gamers for our upcoming projects. You will own the community management and social media execution of a larger marketing strategy for your titles, from creating and developing communication strategies to day-to-day engagement with players.
You can work remotely worldwide on a CET time zone schedule or onsite in our Netherlands office.

About You

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role within video game publisher companies.
  • Social media is your natural habitat: you are an active user, and you know how platforms such as X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, and TikTok work, the cultures of these online spaces, and the trends that emerge there (including memes!).
  • Excellent understanding of Discord and Steam, and experience communicating with game communities on the platforms.
  • Experience with creating video and static content in Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Photoshop, GIMP, Figma, or similar tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of the AA and indie video game industry and culture.
  • Fluent or native in written and spoken English, with command of other languages as a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing communities for video games.
  • Love reaching out to people and connecting with them, with a passion for empathetic and authentic communication.
  • You are proactive and have a great sense of humour.
  • An appetite for learning new things.

Responsibilities

  • Working with your product group and development teams to create and execute community and social media development strategies and plans around games (pre-launch, launch and post-launch periods).
  • Creating social media content (whether video, GIFs, static, or prose) that builds a community of passionate fans and supports various business needs.
  • Take an active part in your communities' lives - maintain close communications with players on different channels, organise and host various events and activities, collect feedback, and be an integral part of communication between players and developers.
  • Create partner blogs (PS Blog, Xbox Wire) and work directly with Sony and Microsoft to publish these and other supportive assets on their respective channels.
  • Host live streams on Twitch/YouTube and/or create video devlogs.
