This role has a primary focus on leading the implementation and evolution of Dynatrace across key NA/LATAM applications, ensuring the maturity of observability and AIOps capabilities in collaboration with SRE and engineering teams. It is also responsible for proactive application performance monitoring through metrics, dashboards, alerts, synthetic testing, and automation, with the goal of detecting anomalies and reducing Mean Time To Resolution (MTTR). Additionally, the role supports the integration of alerts and events with Service Desk and CMDB systems, and works closely with application development teams to assess the impact of code changes and keep monitoring platforms up to date.

What You'll Do
- Share responsibility for deploying and maturing Dynatrace capabilities across key Chubb applications in the NA/LATAM regions.
- Act as the technical lead for all BAU interactions with the NA SRE Observability team.
- Collaborate closely with SRE squads and Advanced Engineering teams across NA/LATAM to define and deliver AIOps capabilities using existing tool.
- Leverage diagnostic and observability tools to detect application performance anomalies, working with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and reduce Mean Time To Resolution (MTTR).
- Design, build, and support Business User Journey metrics, dashboards, and alerts for critical application workflows
- Develop and maintain synthetic monitoring scripts to ensure end-to-end system monitoring and availability.
- Integrate alerting and automation into centralized event correlation platforms, Service Desk ticketing systems, and the CMDB.
- Implement automated start-of-day application health checks using testing and automation technologies.
- Partner with application development teams to analyze the impact of code changes on monitoring platforms and update dashboards and configurations accordingly.
What Were Looking For
- Hands-on, in-depth experience with Observability and AIOps platforms, preferably Dynatrace and ScienceLogic.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud monitoring technologies, ideally Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Proven experience providing technical leadership and oversight in the delivery and continuous improvement of monitoring capabilities.
- Ability to work closely with Enterprise Architecture teams to understand and comply with technical governance and security requirements.
- Solid experience with DevOps practices and associated tools.
- Experience delivering automation at scale using technologies such as Ansible.
- Hands-on experience with application synthetic testing tools, including HPE Quality Center, HPE Performance Center, Selenium, and Python scripting.
- Experience working with JavaScript agents and a solid understanding of Java and .NET technologies.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure and networking concepts, including data flows and communication protocols.
- Experience with application or network trace analysis tools (e.g., ThousandEyes, Wireshark), ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, and log ingestion technologies like ELK.
