Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 annually
Facility Size: 0 - 49 beds

Position Overview:

Seeking experienced Critical Care Registered Nurses (RNs) to join its multidisciplinary team in delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This position provides direct nursing care to a variety of patients, including those requiring advanced monitoring and ventilatory support, in both medical/surgical and critical care settings.

This is a dynamic role for a highly skilled RN who can assess, implement, and evaluate patient care with minimal supervision. As a clinical leader, you will also assist with training and mentoring other staff and play a key role in the continuum of care from admission to discharge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care for critically ill and general medical/surgical patients
  • Operate and manage advanced medical equipment such as A-lines, multiple IVs, chest tubes, and ventilators
  • Assess and monitor patients with central lines, invasive lines, and other critical conditions
  • Coordinate care and provide direction to LPNs, CNAs, and support staff
  • Act as a preceptor and clinical resource to new team members
  • Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, supervisors, and the Chief Nursing Officer
  • Contribute to patient education and discharge planning

Education and Licensure:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current RN license in the State of Montana (or compact state)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Preferred: PALS, ENPC, TNCC

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Critical Care or Advanced Medical/Surgical Unit
  • Proven proficiency in operating advanced medical and monitoring equipment

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong grasp of advanced nursing principles and critical care procedures
  • Proficient in using multiple IV pumps and critical care monitoring systems
  • Ability to respond rapidly and effectively in emergent situations
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making abilities
