Job Title: OB/GYN Physician

Location: Glendive, MT

Employment Type: Full-Time | Low Volume Call (1:2 Rotation)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled OB/GYN Physician to provide high-quality medical care in both chronic and acute patient scenarios. This physician will plan, direct, and evaluate care for residents and employees, perform examinations and procedures, manage illnesses and injuries, and collaborate with advanced practice providers (PA/NP). This role features a low-volume call schedule with a 1:2 rotation and offers a supportive environment for work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver professional medical services including exams, procedures, and treatment of a wide range of conditions.

Conduct physical examinations and establish care plans tailored to patient needs.

Diagnose and treat chronic and acute conditions, minor injuries, and perform office-based procedures.

Collaborate with a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner for comprehensive patient care.

Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing as needed.

Maintain timely and accurate documentation in patient records.

Prepare and manage reports, claims, and necessary correspondence for care delivery.

Serve as a healthcare resource for staff and patients regarding treatment and health planning.

Provide coverage during colleague absences (vacation, illness, conferences, etc.).

Participate in medical staff meetings, committees, and continuing education for professional development.

Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with physician scope of practice.

Education & Licensing Requirements:

MD or DO from an accredited medical school.

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Current Montana medical license or eligibility for licensure.

DEA license required.

Minimum two (2) years of clinical experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to assist patients including lifting up to 100 pounds in emergency situations.

Able to lift 10 pounds for routine functions.

Potential exposure to clinical and environmental hazards (e.g., bloodborne pathogens, chemical substances, etc.).
