About the Role:

As the Commercial Director, you will be the strategic and operational leader, spearheading all commercial activities to maximize market share and profitability for their portfolio of OTC and Ethical products. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, and fostering high-performing teams to achieve ambitious targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective commercial strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Market Access, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient resource allocation.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth, expand market share, and optimize pricing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, distributors, government agencies, and patient advocacy groups.
  • Develop and execute impactful marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, product adoption, and sales.
  • Oversee the pricing and reimbursement strategies for the assigned portfolio.
  • Monitor and analyze commercial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and manage the commercial budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and ROI.
  • Manage regulatory compliance and navigate the complex Vietnamese healthcare landscape.
  • Foster a high-performing culture within the commercial team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in a commercial leadership role within a multinational pharmaceutical company, with proven success in OTC and Ethical markets.
  • Strong understanding of the Vietnamese healthcare ecosystem, including regulatory procedures and reimbursement landscape.
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese (both written and spoken) is essential.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful commercial strategies, driving growth, and exceeding targets.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills, coupled with strong data interpretation and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with a focus on building trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize budgets effectively.
  • Deep understanding of ethical and compliance protocols within the pharmaceutical industry.
