Regional Product Manager (Medical Devices)

Region: Southeast Asia (SEA), Pakistan (PK), Hong Kong (HK), and Taiwan (TW)

Reports To: Regional Head

Summary

The Interventional Regional Product Manager (RPM) is a visionary leader who is responsible for the success of the Interventional Product Line in Southeast Asia, Pakistan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. Working closely with the Regional Head, the RPM develops and executes the strategic plan, rolls out new products, provides training and support, and coordinates marketing campaigns. With a deep understanding of the market and a laser focus on customer needs, the RPM is instrumental in driving sales growth and market share.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate the tactical rollout of new products across the SEA/PK/HK/TW region in collaboration with Sales Management.
  • Conduct product and sales training to equip customer service, product sales representatives, and dealers with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed.
  • Oversee the marketing of new products, new applications, and product improvements, collaborating with physicians, country managers, sales staff, external dealers, and R&D.
  • Develop and track monthly sales forecasts for Products.
  • Spearhead market research and analysis to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Design and implement marketing campaigns, including sales promotions, brochures, advertising, public relations, education, and other initiatives.
  • Maintain close relationships with key stakeholders, including opinion leaders in the region, through regular field visits and physician management.
  • Plan and coordinate KOL events and management in the region.
  • Participate in and coordinate major congresses for the SEA/PK/HK/TW region.
  • Mentor and develop others by sharing best practices and experiences.

Qualifications

  • A degree in marketing/biomedical engineering, biology, or health science background.
  • Preferable with cardiology product knowledge.
  • Minimum 5 years of medical and/or marketing experience.
  • Preferably with 3 years of experience in a Cath lab environment.
  • Proven track record of implementing market development strategies and marketing activities.
  • Deep understanding of the external environment, including customers, competitors, and government healthcare policies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to diplomatically interact and develop solid working relationships with all levels of management, staff, and peers.
