Sales Manager - Food Services - HORECA Sector (Bangkok)
We are looking for a charismatic and dynamic Sales Manager for our client, one of Thailands most impressive importers and distributors of food products (including well known household brands). The Sales Manager would lead the dedicated HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, and Cafés) sales team. This role is a highly influential role within the business and the company has an unusually flat hierarchy where directors are very approachable.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth, developing long-term partnerships, and inspiring the team to exceed ambitious sales targets. key roles will be business development, strengthening critical customer relationships, and ensuring close collaboration with Marketing, Logistics, and Product teams.
- You would Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve strong results and foster professional growth.
- Develop and execute aggressive sales strategies that expand market share and strengthen the specialized brands leadership in the premium HORECA sector.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with high-value customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., supply chain) to implement promotions, product tastings, and campaigns.
- Oversee performance management through KPIs, sales forecasting, and reporting.
- Ensure smooth execution of contracts, promotions, and logistics with high service standards, emphasizing reliable product delivery.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or similar.
- Ideally 5 years of successful sales experience in HORECA / food services distribution, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong achievements showing sales growth and managing sales teams.
- Excellent leadership, persuasive communication, and high-level negotiation skills.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with proven commercial acumen.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel frequently across the Bangkok Metropolitan Region and potentially surrounding provinces.
- Essential Language and Experience Requirement The search is open to expatriates or Thai candidates who possess strong English fluency. Ability to communicate in French and/or Italian is an advantage
