Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Utilize financial accounting expertise to analyse financial data and provide insights to
management for decision-making.
Supervise and mentor accounting teams across different locations to achieve
departmental goals and objectives.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making and
financial planning.
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local regulations and
international standards.
Demonstrate a strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards to maintain
accurate financial records.
Uphold a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all financial reporting and
analysis.
Exhibit excellent team management and leadership skills to motivate and inspire
accounting teams to achieve excellence.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations for subsidiary companies in multiple
countries.
Collaborate with auditors during audits to facilitate the audit process and ensure
compliance with audit requirements.
Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and mitigate
financial risks.
Maintain proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) and leverage
technology to streamline accounting processes.
Qualifications:
Fluent in English communication.
Masters or bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Significant experience in accounting or financial management roles, preferably in the oil
and gas industry.
Knowledgeable in Accounting Standards EG. TAS 16,27,28,33,36,37,38 TFRS 15,16
Proven experience supervising accounting teams across multiple locations.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Typically reports to the CFO or Financial Director.
