Job Title: Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to oversee financial operations within our Pipeline Inspection Services, specializing in the oil and gas industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, with specific expertise in managing finances within the context of pipeline inspection services.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Planning and Analysis:

- Develop and oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the Pipeline Inspection Services division.

- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

2. Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards relevant to the oil and gas industry.

3. Cost Management:

- Monitor and control costs associated with pipeline inspection projects, including personnel, equipment, and materials.

- Implement cost-saving initiatives and strategies to optimize financial performance.

4. Risk Management:

- Assess financial risks and implement appropriate risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses.

- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes affecting financial operations in the oil and gas sector.

5. Internal Controls:

- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

- Conduct periodic audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.

6. Stakeholder Management:

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers, operations teams, and senior management, to align financial objectives with business goals.

- Communicate financial insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.

7. Related assignments assign by direct report.

Qualifications:

- Masters or bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; or CPA qualification preferred.

- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

- Prior experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in pipeline inspection services, is highly desirable.

- Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

- Expertise in financial control and risk management, with a demonstrated ability to implement internal controls and mitigate financial risks.

- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with industry-specific software is a plus.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.

- Fluent in English with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Proven leadership abilities, with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving results in a dynamic environment.

- Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A), including due diligence, valuation, and integration processes, is highly desirable.

- Previous work experience in listed companies or publicly traded organizations is preferred.
