Part-Time Toad&Co Freeport Team Member

Were hiring a sales associate to join our team at Toad&Co in Portland. This person will be a key member of our retail sales team. This is a part-time position and weekend availability is required.

The right person is comfortable jumping right in, is experienced in spotting what needs to be done and can multi-task. This role is for someone with excellent customer service skills. Retail experience, hopefully in the clothing and/or outdoor industry, is important, but not a requirement.

We like solution-oriented people who are ready to spend the day on their feet, making things happen. The right person is comfortable being "in charge" when other leadership is not available and can take general guidelines and turn them into action. Were looking to bring someone into our team who is willing to listen, has excellent communication skills, and works well in a group setting. We'd like to hire someone who can grow to take on more leadership within our company.

Responsibilities:

Accountable to meeting/exceeding daily sales goals

Able to multi-task and shift between tasks as priorities change.

Maintain positive and open communication with others on the Store Leadership Team

Be a role model for friendly and brand-oriented sales

Participate in store events

Prioritize and delegate daily tasks, including end of day responsibilities

Assist in communicating company and store policies and guidelines

Store opening, Store closing, Securing the store

Following loss prevention guidelines and train staff

Other duties as assigned.
