The Cost Accountant plays a critical role in shaping the organizations financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Areas of Impact

• Develop and maintain reliable cost structures that support planning, pricing, and operational strategy
• Strengthening financial forecasts by delivering consistent, data‑driven cost-insights
• Evaluate cost performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with production, supply chain, and operations to ensure cost data integrity
• Prepare organized, audit‑ready cost documentation for internal and external review
• Produce recurring cost summaries that inform leadership and support strategic alignment
• Uphold accounting standards, internal controls, and compliance expectations

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 2–4 years of cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of cost methodologies and GAAP principles
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working within ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Proven analytical capability and a disciplined, detail‑oriented approach
• Ability to manage priorities independently and meet established deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to standard costing frameworks
• Understanding of inventory flow and cost allocation practices
• Familiarity with SOX‑related processes

Work Location | Hours

• Onsite
• Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Salary Range:

• $95,000 - $105,000/year commensurate with experience
