About the job Showroom Assistant
Our Client has a luxurious furniture brand worldwide and is seeking to hire a Showroom Assistant to join the the team in Baghdad. As a Showroom Assistant you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our upscale furniture showroom.
Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in their furniture selection process, understanding their needs and preferences.
- Provide in-depth product knowledge and information about the luxurious furniture collections, including features, materials, and design aesthetics.
- Answer customer inquiries promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone or email.
- Assist customers in coordinating fabric and finish selections, offering guidance and advice as needed.
- Collaborate with the sales team to schedule and coordinate customer appointments and consultations.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing showroom, ensuring furniture displays are clean and well-presented.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the sales team and showroom manager regarding stock availability and replenishment needs.
- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently, including capturing customer information, product details, and payment transactions.
- Assist with post-sales activities, such as scheduling deliveries, coordinating with the logistics team, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Handle customer concerns, complaints, or service inquiries professionally, escalating issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support showroom events, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
- Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all showroom visitors.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably within the furniture, interior design, or luxury retail industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and connect with customers.
- Strong product knowledge and passion for luxurious furniture, including familiarity with different styles, materials, and design trends.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced showroom setting.
- Proficiency in using technology and computer systems for order processing, inventory management, and customer communication.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve showroom goals.
- Knowledge of interior design principles and space planning is a plus.
- Fluency in additional languages is an advantage, especially if serving a diverse customer base.
