Our client, a leading manufacturing and food distribution company dedicated to creating delicious and high-quality confectionery products, is looking for a Head of Catering in Tripoli, Lebanon. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a strong understanding of the catering industry, and a proven track record of delivering outstanding culinary experiences. 

Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive catering strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
    • Identify target markets and opportunities for business expansion in the catering sector.
    • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and customer preferences.
    • Oversee the end-to-end catering operations, including menu planning, food preparation, service delivery, and post-event activities.
    • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, quality standards, and health and safety guidelines.
    • Manage catering budgets, cost control, and profitability analysis.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and monitor vendor performance.
    • Set performance expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
    • Identify training and development needs, and coordinate relevant training programs for the catering team.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their catering requirements and delivering exceptional customer service.
    • Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within the catering industry.
    • Strong understanding of catering operations, food trends, and customer preferences.
    • Excellent culinary knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional food experiences.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute catering strategies, driving business growth.
    • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, cost control, and profitability analysis.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
