We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations and Logistics Supervisor in Beirut, Lebanon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the logistics and operational activities, ensuring that goods are moved efficiently from origin to destination. This role will involve managing delivery schedules, optimizing inventory levels, and coordinating with various departments to enhance operational performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow-up and ensure on-time availability and optimum stock level of medical implants and disposables.
  • Manage queries and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and documents across all customer service activities, including data dashboards.
  • Schedule and coordinate the transportation of goods.
  • Ensure accuracy in shipping documents and inventory levels.
  • Track shipments and resolve errors in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and customers to ensure a smooth supply chain.
  • Monitor and analyze costs related to transportation, storage, and distribution.
  • Generate reports using financial data to provide insights to management.
  • Verify that deliveries are timely, cost-effective, and efficient.
  • Check received items for damages and specifications.
  • Update and upload details for received stock on the management system.
  • Prepare Service Requisition Notes, send damaged items for repairs, and follow up on repairs with suppliers to ensure timely returns.
  • Verify billing details sent by suppliers and adjust repair costs to the buying price of items and products.
  • Coordinate with the regulatory department for all certificate registrations and updates regarding MOH regulations; work on and revise SOPs.
  • Provide stock details and availability to the Sales Team, Accounting Department, and Deputy General Manager.
  • Prepare an error-free stock list on a monthly basis.
  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and annual physical inventory, reconcile stocks, and ensure optimum stock levels at all times.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in logistics and operations management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in logistics software and inventory management systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
