Key Responsibilities/ Experience / Knowledge Required

 

Business Development

 

·         Identify key prospects and customer segments to promote the entire range of companies services and explore needs of these segments for potential new products/services.

·         Ensure that there is regular face to face contact with all customers assigned to the BDM and adopt a consultative sales approach with all customers. All contract renewals (100 %) are to be activated prior to expiry.

·         Build credibility by communicating trust, morale and professionalism with all customers by understanding the needs of the customer and recommending the appropriate solutions to meet these requirements.

·         Have the sales and marketing experience to be able to sell at multiple levels (middle and senior management – Expat organisations) within all identified accounts

·         Develop together with the Head of Sales an aggressive sales action plan to achieve monthly  & annual sales and business targets for new business and cross selling targets.

·         Develop long lasting relationships with new and existing customers to enable Intl. SOS to capitilize on opportunities and manage business risk

·         Develop Key Account Management Plan for existing business. 

 

New Sales Achievement

 

·         Develop new customer prospecting plan which focuses on closing new sales with an aim to exceed budgeted targets.

·         Assume direct account management responsibility for identified market segment to ensure proper administration and timely renewal of each account’s contract with the company.

Cross-Border Sales Activities

 

·         Actively involves in cross-border sales opportunity and demonstrates value to help close the sales

·         Timely and accurately update and report according to the requirements regarding the Cross-Border rules and regulations

 

Account Management & General Responsibilities

 

·         Ensure clients pay promptly within credit terms with zero bad debt accounts.

·         Provide weekly and monthly sales activities reports in line with Location, Region and/or Global requirements.

·         Ensure SalesForce database is up to date at all times.

·         Responsible for implementation, co-ordination and results of marketing activity related to the new market development.

·         Provide responsive and effective account management, problem resolution and follow up.

 

 Job Profile

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Proven experience in B2B consultative selling by offering solutions to meet customer requirements for at least 4 years in a service/ solution related business.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic who takes proactive actions to accommodate working in a changing environment
  • Understanding of the energy, construction, manufacturing & mining market segments with basic understanding  with Health Safety and Environmental policy and procedures.
  • Skilled negotiator with good influencing skills.  Good oral and written presentation skills are a must.
  • Computer literate (MS Word, Excel and CRM applications)
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Good strategic thinker with strong planning and organization skills who has the experience to develop solutions by adopting a consultative sales approach.
  • Result focused, sales personality (hunter) used to working under pressure and achieving stretch goals
  • Strong business acumen and a highly responsible individual who takes ownership over his/her assigned responsibilities and is highly results driven.
  • Customer focused culture by utilizing data to recommend enhancements and changes.
  • Good interpersonal & communication skills who can negotiate effective outcomes
  • A strong team player who is able to work cross functionally to enable us to deliver on proposed solutions for both external & internal customers.

 

Required Work Experience

  • About 6 years’ sales & marketing experience and proven sales track record of more than 3 years.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

 

Required Languages

  • Fluent English language

 

Travel / Rotation Requirements

·         Moderate travel will be required.
