Key responsibilities

  • Conduct interviews, recruit, and vet new staff.
  • Arrange training sessions with all new hires and refresher workshops for existing employees.
  • Assist managers with staff requirements and performance evaluations.
  • Identify and address employee needs regarding career development, feedback, and recognition.
  • Manage payroll, benefits, and compensation programs.
  • Counsel staff on HR policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in Cambodia and other relevant jurisdictions.
  • Mitigate legal risks and handle any disputes or investigations involving employees or the company.
  • Maintain accurate and updated records of all HR activities and transactions.
  • Collaborate with the union steward and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or grievances company.
  • Acting as HR Manager when he is on leave, business trip or training day.
  • Other administrative task as require by company.

Requirements

  • University Bachelors degree in HR, law, administration, or related field (preferably a masters degree).
  • Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Cambodia and other relevant jurisdictions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR software tools.
  • 3 - 5 years of previous experience in similar position.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, elearning, workshops, simulations etc)
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
