Key responsibilities
As the Group Chief Executive Officer, he/she will be responsible for the execution of the Long-Term
Business Plan centered on growth which aims at doubling the size of the hospital, recruiting personnel and increasing revenues while keeping the quality of services. More specifically, his/her
responsibilities include the following:
Strategic:
The preparation and presentation of the Long-Term Business Plan and of the annual budgets
towards the Board of directors of the group
Execution of the business plan and growth initiatives for the group
Lead, inspire, steer and manage the hospitals Management Committee, shareholders and other
senior C-suite team
Establish a cohesive leadership team with a unified corporate culture such as embracing and
championing the integration process of the group
Ensure the companys profitable growth relies on a lean, scalable organization with an
entrepreneurial agility to adapt to change
Facilitate a company-wide understanding of and commitment to the companys goals,
positioning and core values; lead and coordinate change and culture management throughout
the group
Attendance to and preparation of all Board meetings and -upon request of the Board- the Audit
and/or the Remuneration and/or the Investment and/or the Strategic Committee
Explore strategic partnerships, collaborations, and alliances that can benefit the group
Operational:
Daily management of the group including all financial, operational, administrative, commercial
and legal aspects of the operations
Check and balance on daily operation (all divisions) as guided in the Company strategic directions
Further strengthen the hospital Brands as a recognized beacon in the market for both residents
and their families as for foreigners
Attract, select, train, develop, retain and motivate the best talent in the industry and be
recognized as such both internally and on the employment market
Stay updated on healthcare regulations and ensure the group remain in compliance with all
relevant laws and regulations
Implement and ensure compliance based on companys policies.
Continuously identify areas for process and service improvement in meeting the local and global
standards
Champion resolution of any audit and compliance findings in partnership with the Executive
Leadership team to drive and maintain good governance
Ensure efficient processes across the organization at all levels
Requirements
Languages:
- Fluent in English and local Khmer language
- Chinese proficiency is a strong plus
Education:
- Solid academic background, e.g. Law, Business, Economics or related discipline (pls include if a degree or Post-graduate is preferred)
- Overseas education is a plus (pls explain why exposure to diverse style of leadership, better experience at global level, etc.?)
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant experience, in senior or executive management positions in mid-size or
large organisations in medical services, hospitality or other related industry (relevant experience
in medical service is a plus).
- Having operated successfully in organization combining an established business with new business
development/entrepreneurial initiatives
- Used to a well-defined governance environment and to working with the Board is a valuable plus,
as well as having worked with private equity
- A proven track record in steering both strategic and operations, having enabled organizations to
achieve ambitious growth targets
- Having led change/transformation projects or experienced in post-merger integration role would
be a strong asset
- Advantage if the person has setup/ managed a business or a practitioner in medical services

- Visionary, strong ability to translate strategic thinking into operational priorities and execution
- Strong people management skills with strategic planning and execution and a natural ability to
create alignment and commitment to ambitious goals
- Non-hierarchical but very confident: courage of his/her convictions; able to push back as necessary
and create buy-in for his/her recommendations
- A self-driven person who takes ownership and initiatives with a results-driven, can-do mindset.

- Confident and decisive but not oversharing, capable of building respect
- Trustworthy leader, entrepreneurial and self-driven with health system optimization

Excellent people and communication skills at all levels and willing to engage with both internal and
external stakeholders along with issue analysis and resolution

make decisions with culture development and refinement
