Key responsibilities

1. Collaborate with the third-party software vendor and internal stakeholders to understand the project requirements and translate them into actionable DevOps tasks.

2. Design, implement, and maintain a robust and scalable DevOps pipeline for continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of the internal management system and field mobile app.

3. Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices.

4. Establish and enforce coding standards, version control, and release management processes using GitHub.

5. Implement issue tracking and project management workflows using Jira to facilitate efficient collaboration and task management.

6. Set up and configure AWS infrastructure to support the development, testing, and production environments.

7. Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.

8. Monitor and analyze system performance and proactively address any issues or bottlenecks.

9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and operations, to ensure smooth integration and delivery of the applications.

10. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevOps practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

2. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role, with a focus on building and deploying complex applications.

3. Strong proficiency in using tools such as GitHub for version control, Jira for issue tracking, and AWS for infrastructure setup and management.

4. Experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard methodologies.

5. Solid understanding of agile development practices and methodologies.

6. Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.

7. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).

8. Experience in monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack) for proactive system

monitoring.

9. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to guide and mentor a team.

10. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

11. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.

Salary range

USD1500 - USD2000
