Cost Accountant (Frankfort, Free State)

Agricultural company in Frankfort, Free State are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Maintain costing records
2. Project costing
3. Generate costing reports
4. Develop and maintain costing models
5. Monitor purchase price variance
6. Stock evaluation at month-end
7. Assist in the budget and forecast process with pricing structures
8. Assist with stock counts
9. Compile monthly management reports
10. Ensure daily posting of production & transfer orders
11. Assist all departments with IT related enquiries
12. Approval of General journals & payments on ad-hoc basis
13. Maintain inventory item setup on NAVISION
14. Monitor & rapport production efficiency on weekly basis

REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12
2. BCom Accounting
3. CIMA qualification will serve as recommendation
4. Completed SAICA articles
5. 3 years relevant experience within the Cost Accounting field
6. Strong analytical, numeracy and interpersonal skills
7. Good computer literacy, with the ability to function at an advanced level in Excel
8. Ability to function independently, in a team and accept responsibility

RUMUNERATION

R500,000 To R700,000 Per Annum
