Welder Artisan Assistant (Reitz, Free State)

Agricultural company in the Northeast Free State is seeking an Artisan Assistant to assist Electrician with daily duties in Reitz, Free State

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform basic electrical duties according to order and under supervision including the use of electrical hand equipment (grinder, drill, test meters)
2. Cleaning of cables and electrical equipment during daily maintenance
3. Constant complying with health and safety standards in execution of worksheets en maintenance
4. Offer a high quality of work in a neat manner
5. Willing to upskill and undergo training towards qualification

REQUIREMENTS

1. Grade 12
2. Possession of a relevant welder qualification
3. Minimum 5 years of experience
4. Strong mechanical and electrical experience in both fields is essential
5. Troubleshooting is essential
6. Applicable knowledge and skill
7. Willingness to travel
8. Valid trade certificate will be advantageous
9. Independent
10. Team player
11. Able to perform well under high pressure environment
12. Problem definition and analyses
13. Written and Verbal Communication
14. Personal Resilience
15. Basic knowledge of Electricity and other maintenance work

RUMUNERATION

R8,500 To R10,800 (Negotiable)
