Your Role

You will lead end-to-end procurement activities that keep operations running smoothly. From sourcing and onboarding suppliers to negotiating terms and managing purchase orders, you ensure the right goods and services arrive on time, at the right quality, and at the best total cost. You act as a key partner to engineering, production, and finance, turning business needs into reliable supply outcomes while continuously improving processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement of goods and services, ensuring optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance
  • Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers, building strong long-term partnerships
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and agreements to achieve savings and value creation
  • Issue and manage purchase orders aligned with project timelines and delivery schedules
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels for critical consumables to prevent shortages
  • Conduct supplier and internal audits to uphold compliance and performance standards
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including agreements, purchase orders, and communications
  • Track and analyze purchasing trends, delivery performance, and open orders to optimize processes
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and finance to align procurement with business priorities

What Were Looking For

Must-have

  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management within a technical or manufacturing environment
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on supplier relationship management
  • Fluency in Dutch
  • Proficiency with ERP systems for procurement and inventory management
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Ridder IQ or similar ERP platforms
  • Familiarity with ProFile or comparable product management software
