Training Officer

Our client, a leading manufacturer is seeking a Training Officer with experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry and a strong background in machinery operations and training. This role is responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance employee skills, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement technical and operational training programs for employees working with machinery.
• Conduct hands-on training sessions to improve workforce competency and adherence to health & safety standards.
• Assess training needs and create customized learning plans for machine operators, technicians, and other relevant staff.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, ensuring continuous improvement.
• Work closely with HR, production, and maintenance teams to align training with business objectives.
• Keep up to date with industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare reports for management.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Training Officer in an FMCG environment.
• Strong understanding of machinery operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Excellent training delivery skills, both theoretical and practical.
• Knowledge of compliance standards, such as OSHA, ISO, or HACCP, is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
