Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

We handle everything from plumbing, electrical, and painting to renovations, turnovers, and short-term rental prep. What You'll Do:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in resident-occupied homes and vacant units
 - Prepare units for new tenants (make rent-ready tasks)
 - Conduct move-out inspections after residents vacate, pre-move-out inspections before they vacate, and final move-in evaluations once all turnover work is completed
 - Address structural repairs and ensure properties meet safety and quality standards
 - Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment
 - Communicate with the team to schedule and prioritize tasks
 - Document all work and maintain accurate records
 - Use time and materials efficiently
 - Follow all safety guidelines at all times
 - Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
 
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Cabinet repairs and adjustments
 - Installing blinds and baseboards
 - Drywall repair, patching, and finishing
 - Door installation and adjustments (interior, exterior, bypass)
 - Appliance installation
 - Trash outs and property clean-ups
 - Painting and touch-ups
 - Caulking and sealing
 - Minor plumbing experience is a plus
 
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience
 - Reliable transportation and your own basic tools
 - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 - Ability to work independently and efficiently
 - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
 - Positive attitude and a strong work ethic
 - Commitment to working safely and professionally in both vacant and occupied homes
