What Youll Do:
- Receive maintenance requests from clients, either via phone calls or electronic communication channels.
- Gather all necessary information from clients regarding the maintenance issues and record them accurately.
- Prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks based on urgency, technician availability, and geographical location.
- Dispatch the appropriate technicians to the designated locations, considering their skill sets and expertise.
- Communicate with technicians to provide all relevant information, including client details, task instructions, and any additional information required.
- Monitor the progress of ongoing maintenance tasks and ensure timely completion.
- Maintain a record of all dispatched tasks, ensuring accurate documentation of details, updates, and any changes.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to update clients on task progress, estimated completion times, and any delays.
- Handle any customer inquiries or concerns regarding maintenance tasks, providing professional and efficient responses.
- Assist in maintaining an organized and up-to-date database of clients, technicians, and ongoing tasks.
Who are We Looking For?
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proven experience as a dispatcher, preferably in a property maintenance or similar industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using computer systems, including dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Knowledge of property maintenance/repair terminology, procedures, and equipment is an asset.
