We are hiring an energetic Warehouse Associate & Operator to receive and dispatch merchandise to and from our warehouse. The Associate will load and unload from the showroom and coordinate with our outside movers to load/unload delivery trucks.  Our well-suited candidate will coordinate with the design team to place furniture onto the showroom floor and remove similar pieces when they sell.  The Associate will work closely as part of a 3-man crew to insure the showroom looks meticulous including hanging all the artwork and chandeliers.   Prefer candidates well versed with general handy-man duties and accustomed to working with a wide array of tools.  Past experience in a furniture store is a definite plus.

To ensure success you need the ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner. Preferred applicants are hard-working, focused, and have outstanding problem-solving skills.

When our truckloads of gorgeous furniture come in, it's an exciting surprise every day! You will be moving furniture - up to 80 pounds of heavy lifting is required.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a Monday-Friday Schedule of 35-40 hours per week  (some Saturdays)  and possibly more. Your hours will be 9:30 to 5:00. We offer a competitive salary and monthly bonuses. We are a non-smoking environment. You will have regular reviews and the opportunity for a raise at 60 days and one year.

We just opened our third showroom featuring unique French, Italian, and American furniture in various styles from antiques to contemporary. We are in a prime location close to the Scottsdale Quarter and Kierland with easy Freeway access.

You're the Ideal Candidate if You Have:

·        The ability to lift and move 50-80 pounds and work while standing for extended periods of time.

·        Able to meet safety, quality, production, and attendance requirements.

·        Interact personably, courteously, and effectively with team members and discerning clients.

·        Able to understand and follow instructions regarding work duties and safety methods.

·        Professionalism and Punctuality! An interest and passion for interior design is a plus but not necessary.

·        A desire to work 35-40 hours per week from 9:30 am -5 pm including a FEW Saturdays - more hours possible!

Your Key Responsibilities:

·        Coordinate with outside Vendor Movers for DELIVERIES to customer homes

·        Maintain and organize two large warehouses with a continual revolving door of high-end furniture/art/accessories

·        Carefully move and place furniture and accessories on a daily basis on the showroom floor

·        Assist Customers by loading furniture, and accessories into their vehicles --Hang artwork, chandeliers, and minor furniture repairs (with the Manager's guidance)

·        Organize and maintain maximum efficiencies in the Warehouse --Minor Janitorial work to keep things in tip-top shape

·        Team Work with the Store Manager and Sales Team to Open & Close the store each day

·        Ensure cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the warehouse work environment.

·        Load and unload delivery vehicles.  Unload large Palettes and prepare and assemble the new merchandise.

·        Count and confirm inventory.

·        Inspect, and report all inventory for damage and faults.

·        Communicate errors to warehouse management.

·        Store inventory in an accessible manner, while ensuring all stock is properly marked and labeled.
