Location: Roanoke, VA (onsite) | Travel up to 40%

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and long-term planning for multiple industrial facilities.
  • Ensure the structural integrity and safety of all buildings through inspections, maintenance, and upgrades.
  • Manage utility systems, including power and water, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
  • Conduct safety and security audits; ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA and others).
  • Lead compliance inspections and coordinate issue resolution and documentation.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and professional grounds including landscaping, roadways, and parking areas.
  • Manage office layouts, space planning, furniture, and related services.
  • Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers.
  • Develop emergency response and risk mitigation plans for all locations.
  • Maintain preventive maintenance schedules, budgets, and capital plans.
  • Serve as the key liaison between on-site operations and senior leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • 57 years of experience managing industrial or commercial facilities.
  • Solid understanding of building systems, construction methods, safety codes, and compliance standards.
  • Strong leadership, vendor management, and project coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% to support multiple U.S. sites.

Work Environment:

  • Office-based with regular visits to active industrial and operational sites.
  • National travel required for audits, inspections, and project oversight.
