Job description:

As Director of Carrier Sales, you will lead the carrier sales department with full responsibility for strategy, leadership, operations, and performance. You will develop and execute data-driven plans to grow and strengthen the carrier network while inspiring your team to exceed service and budget goals. This is a leadership role reporting directly to the President & CEO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire, manage, and develop the Carrier Sales team

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure reliable and efficient service

  • Develop and implement carrier growth strategies based on data

  • Resolve escalated issues and oversee the carrier claims process

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies

  • Promote a collaborative, performance-driven team culture

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution

  • 4+ years in the transportation or logistics industry with capacity experience

  • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work extended hours as needed

Preferred:

  • Masters degree

  • 2+ years of direct supervisory experience in a related industry
