Job description:

The LTL Pricing Analyst at TA Services will develop competitive pricing strategies, analyze transportation data, and support both customer and carrier contract negotiations. This role requires cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, accounting, and IT to ensure effective pricing implementation and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare competitive LTL pricing proposals and collaborate with sales teams to meet opportunity goals
  • Analyze and update RFPs for managed customers and partner carriers

  • Maintain pricing contracts and perform account reviews to identify inefficiencies
  • Create dashboards in PowerBI for customer presentations and QBRs

  • Conduct linehaul and delivery analysis to improve consolidation network performance
  • Report weekly fuel updates, expiring contracts, and ad hoc analyses for internal teams
  • Support troubleshooting with the TMS superuser team and other departments

  • Communicate and work well with both customers and carriers to ensure the best rates

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, formulas) and PowerBI

  • Knowledge of LTL pricing and transportation; experience with TMS systems (e.g., MercuryGate) preferred
  • Strong data analysis, communication, and negotiation skills

  • Experience with logistics tools such as Truckstop, DAT, and McLeod
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and translate complex data into clear insights
  • Over 1 year of pricing analysis experience
  • Bilingual highly preferred (Spanish)
