Title: Business Development Representative
Salary: $40-50K DOE + commission (15%-20% uncapped after $5K recoverable seat cost)
Location: Knoxville, TN
Job Type: Full-time, on-site (M-F 8-5)
Overview: This role demands a highly motivated individual that is organized and detailed oriented to build/port a cradle-to-grave book of business in the freight brokerage industry.
Responsibilities
- This position is cradle to grave sales (sales, operations, and customer service)
- This position requires sales calls daily.
- Build and manage a book of business by developing and maintaining customer relationships.
- Operational duties include dispatching drivers, rate quoting, negotiating, and customer service.
- Ability to work in a fast paced and multitasking environment.
- Must be able to make wise and profitable business decisions.
- You must care about your own success!
Experience
- Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
- Logistics experience preferred.
- Trucking industry terminology a plus.
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused.
- Independent work ethic.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
This position offers a competitive base salary(weekly) plus commission paid monthly!
