Title: Business Development Representative 

Salary: $40-50K DOE + commission (15%-20% uncapped after $5K recoverable seat cost)

Location: Knoxville, TN

Job Type: Full-time, on-site (M-F 8-5)

Overview: This role demands a highly motivated individual that is organized and detailed oriented to build/port a cradle-to-grave book of business in the freight brokerage industry.

Responsibilities

  • This position is cradle to grave sales (sales, operations, and customer service)
  • This position requires sales calls daily.
  • Build and manage a book of business by developing and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Operational duties include dispatching drivers, rate quoting, negotiating, and customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and multitasking environment.
  • Must be able to make wise and profitable business decisions.
  • You must care about your own success!

Experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred but not required.
  • Logistics experience preferred.
  • Trucking industry terminology a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and stay focused.
  • Independent work ethic.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This position offers a competitive base salary(weekly) plus commission paid monthly!
