DutiesAssist attorneys with all phases of litigation from case inception through discovery, resolution or trial, post-trial, and case closurePrepare court filings and assembling of exhibitsDrafting and responding to discovery demands (interrogatories, requests to produce documents, etc.)Assist with preparation and support for depositions, hearings, and mediationsMaintain case dockets and calendarsCoordinate electronic discoveryPrepare probate pleadings, federal estate tax returns, trust/estate accountings, and funding calculationsManage trust administration, probate, and conservatorshipsFile court documents, including e-filingPersonal Attributes RequiredExhibits professional verbal and written communication skillsKeen attention to detail and strong organizational skillsPossess strong technical skillsMust be able to multi-task and successfully manage a variety of demands dailyMust have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven team environmentKeeps attorneys informed of the status of projects, work, and deadlinesMaintains a positive and can do attitudeExperience and Education RequirementsA Bachelors or Associates degreeMinimum of 3 years prior experience in complex estate planning, probate, guardianship, and trust matters highly desiredComprehensive knowledge of all facets of the litigation lifecycle: case management, document review, and trial experienceTechnical proficiency in Microsoft Suite
